When skatepark surfaces degrade, ride quality and safety suffer. Komsol Skateseal is designed to stop
that process before it starts.
This deep-penetrating silicate treatment reinforces the concrete from within, preserving the smooth,
cement-rich surface essential for low rolling resistance, speed and safety. Whether it's weather,
graffiti cleaning, or daily wear – Skateseal strengthens the surface and keeps it in optimal riding
condition.
Preserves performance. Reduces maintenance.
A freshly cast skatepark provides a silky, cement-rich finish – ideal for smooth transitions and
consistent grip. But this top layer is vulnerable. Acidic rain, chlorides, frost cycles and aggressive
graffiti removal gradually wear it down, exposing coarse aggregate and increasing friction. This leads
to a rougher ride, higher fall risk and costly surface restoration.
Strength from the inside out
Komsol Skateseal penetrates deep into the concrete’s capillaries and microcracks, where it reacts to
form durable calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) crystals. These fill internal voids, strengthen the
material, and block water and contaminants – while still allowing vapor to escape. The surface remains
natural, grippy, and non-slip – with no visible film or change in color.
Longer life. Less hassle.
Applied preventively or as part of a renovation, Komsol Skateseal reduces wear, preserves the original
ride quality and significantly extends the lifespan of skatepark concrete. It’s the invisible layer of
protection that keeps parks rolling longer – with less maintenance.
